If your kid qualifies for Invisalign® Teen, we’ll take scans of their smile to make their custom clear aligner sets.
Similar to the system designed for adults, Invisalign® Teen moves the teeth incrementally and carefully through a series of custom-fit, biocompatible trays that fit snugly over the teeth. Over time, the teeth will shift into the desired position.
However, each Invisalign® Teen aligner has a blue dot indicator that helps the wearer, parents, and Dr. Ochoa understand when to change aligners. Eventually, the blue dot indicator fades with use, and this provides an estimation of wear time and signals that it’s time for a new set of aligners (generally every two weeks).
